Installation
- Copy the IQ Office files (including directories) on to your system --> note that this directory structure contains long file names, which has the potential to be truncated when this cd is mounted on a unix machine. To avoid this, you may copy the .zip file, from the parent directory of this directory, and unzip it on the unix machine
- --> When unziping the IQ_Office.zip, use the -a option to convert CrLf to a unix Cr ('unzip -a IQ_Office.zip')
- Copy the PAF from /Paf/ (on this DVD ROM) to an appropriate locations on your system (./Paf/PafVersion by default)
- Run createConfigFile to create the configuration file .intech
- Ensure the settings in this file reflect the correct location of the files
- Copy this configuration file to your home directory,
or set the environment variable INTECH_CONFIG_FILE to the location of this file.
eg. INTECH_CONFIG_FILE=/usr/share/intech/.intech
- Copy the libraries and headers to the appropriate locations on your system
- Copy the supplied license files to your home directory replacing the default versions
- If you are installing the Unix software as part of an evaluation you can either
- Copy the required license files (*.lic) from a Windows evaluation or
- Contact your Intech Account Representative or email support@intechiq.com and request a copy of the required license files.
